Requirements

• 3 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Certification such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, COC, or CPC.
• Membership in AHIMA or AAPC.
• Preferred: 4 years of experience in a professional healthcare setting.
• Preferred: Additional coding certifications.
