Overview

The Revenue Integrity Analyst at Northwestern Medicine plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in the revenue cycle, supporting the Clinical Department through charge capture analysis and maintaining the charge master.

In Short

  • Work with the Revenue Integrity Senior Analyst.
  • Perform charge capture analysis and annual price increase analysis.
  • Maintain the charge master for compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct audits and prepare necessary files for the EAP database.
  • Research billing and coding regulations.
  • Support finance, operations, and revenue cycle teams.
  • Ensure accurate charging on patient accounts.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient information.
  • Participate in educational workshops to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Display strategic problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Moderate/Advanced understanding of CPT coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Healthcare finance experience preferred.
  • EPIC Certification is a plus.
  • RHIA or related healthcare credential preferred.
