The Billing Specialist Support Specialist is responsible for managing reporting documentation, data entry, and verification of insurance coverage in a healthcare setting.

In Short

• Manage DAANES reporting documentation
• Manage Kepro uploading and feedback
• Medical Record management
• Pre-Admission data entry accuracy audit/review
• Verification of insurance coverage prior to client admission
• Data entry and management of files
• Support Finance goals and objectives
• Payer communication for admission/discharge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree
• 1-2 years on-the-job experience with data entry in a healthcare setting
• Experience with insurance processes
• CPR Certification or attain within 30 days
• 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems
• Pass a State of Minnesota Background Check
• Current Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs
