• Work with a small engineering team to create a scalable, observable, reliable platform for data ingestion, processing, and serving.
• Responsibilities include CI/CD, security, disaster recovery policies, and infrastructure as code.
• Regularly audit cloud spend and manage long-term compute reservations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cloud server instances.
• Improve observability by iterating on alerts and dashboards.
• Automate processes for services, networking rules, and CI pipelines.
• Ensure system security and compliance with customer requirements.
• Create clear technical documentation for engineers and stakeholders.
• Be a key player in maintaining a reliable and efficient platform.
• Thrive in a dynamic startup environment with diverse tasks.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with GCP or another major cloud provider.
• Experience in security engineering and audit support.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
