Overview

As a Senior UI Manager at Proofpoint, you'll lead and grow the engineering team responsible for developing user interfaces and full-stack features for our data security platform.

In Short

Lead and mentor a team of UI and full-stack engineers.
Drive development of secure and intuitive web applications.
Collaborate with Product, Security, and Design teams.
Define frontend engineering strategy and best practices.
Maintain a strong presence in the codebase through reviews and hands-on work.
Ensure robust coverage through automated testing and secure deployment.
Hire and onboard top engineering talent.
Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Contribute to architecture and delivery of backend services.
Work on compliance workflows and data classification.

Requirements

12+ years of software development experience.
4+ years in a leadership role.
Experience delivering SaaS products in data security.
Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably React).
Strong backend experience with Node.js or Python.
Familiarity with secure development practices.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA.
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have: background in UI component libraries or IAM.
