Overview

The Managing Director of Project Management (MDPM) at Creative Communication Associates (CCA) is responsible for overseeing the organization, scheduling, estimating, and management of all client-based projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables.

In Short

• Oversee all agency project management.
• Ensure proactive communication and efficient workflow for all projects.
• Establish project estimates focusing on efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor project budgets and flag projects trending over budget.
• Assist in scheduling creative briefings and meetings.
• Notify account managers for necessary client communications.
• Oversee internal routing and approvals of project materials.
• Lead weekly status and billing meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of project management experience in an agency environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certified project management training is a plus.
• Experience in higher education is a plus.
• Proficient in Mac software programs.
• Familiarity with project management software like Basecamp and Wrike.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record managing complex projects.
• Strong leadership and team coaching skills.
