In Short

Design the electrical architecture for the next generation endoluminal robotic platform.
Collaborate with the robotic controls software engineering team.
Own the specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematics, layout, prototype, validation, and manufacturing of PCBA’s.
Document design requirements, power budgets, and validation plans.
Design for manufacturing, test, and EMC/EMI.
Work with senior technical leads from various engineering groups.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build complex electrical systems for medical devices.
Expert in electrical CAD tools and PCBA design workflow; Altium experience required.
Experience in high-speed analog and digital design, embedded system design, FPGA, and motor controllers.
Experience with Ethercat protocol.
Extensive experience using oscilloscope, DMM, spectrum analyzer, LCR/network analyzer, and soldering equipment.
Familiar with embedded design and development in C/C++ preferred.
