In Short

• Design the electrical architecture for the next generation endoluminal robotic platform.
• Collaborate with the robotic controls software engineering team.
• Own the specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematics, layout, prototype, validation, and manufacturing of PCBA’s.
• Document design requirements, power budgets, and validation plans.
• Design for manufacturing, test, and EMC/EMI.
• Work with senior technical leads from various engineering groups.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex electrical systems for medical devices.
• Expert in electrical CAD tools and PCBA design workflow; Altium experience required.
• Experience in high-speed analog and digital design, embedded system design, FPGA, and motor controllers.
• Experience with Ethercat protocol.
• Extensive experience using oscilloscope, DMM, spectrum analyzer, LCR/network analyzer, and soldering equipment.
• Familiar with embedded design and development in C/C++ preferred.
