In Short

• Responsible for managing provider credentialing, payer contracting, and compliance.
• Ensures timely provider enrollment and contract execution.
• Addresses credentialing-related denials and revenue-impacting gaps.
• Maintains an up-to-date credentialing database with alerts and tracking.
• Tracks contract renewal deadlines and analyzes payer agreements.
• Ensures compliance with payer credentialing and regulatory standards.
• Serves as a liaison between providers, payers, and the revenue cycle team.
• Collaborates with RCM specialist teams to ensure cash flow is not impacted.
• Identifies root causes of payment delays and implements corrective actions.

Requirements

• Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management.
• Strong knowledge of payer credentialing requirements and contract structures.
• Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle or payer relations.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a data-driven, customer-focused environment.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced RCM environment is a plus.
• CPCS certification is a plus.
