Project Manager - Remote

Overview

NextLink Labs is hiring a Project Manager to join our growing consulting practice, focusing on client engagements in software and technology consulting.

In Short

• Lead client engagements end-to-end, from kickoff through delivery and closeout.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates.
• Manage scope against the SOW and negotiate discrepancies with clients.
• Drive project schedule and scope while protecting engagement economics.
• Own internal logistics of running an engagement including budget tracking and forecasting.
• Maintain PM compliance and reporting responsibilities.
• Identify risks and escalate when necessary.
• Facilitate backlog creation and manage delivery flow through Jira.
• Build and maintain client trust through reliable delivery.
• Contribute to the broader NextLink PM practice through process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional project management experience.
• 2+ years in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Experience managing software or technology engagements.
• CSM or equivalent agile certification preferred.
• Ability to leverage multiple project management methodologies.
• Experience with budget management and forecasting.
• Strong scope management and change-order negotiation skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working overlapping hours with US-based teams.
