Overview

Nexthink is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who is passionate about building and running a high-performance cloud platform and enabling best-in-class site reliability and operations practices.

In Short

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure implementation of security controls for FedRAMP compliance.
  • Lead incident management efforts for rapid resolution.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about system performance.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Collaborate with compliance team for FedRAMP audits.
  • Support US-based operations with a focus on the US Public Sector market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements.
  • Experience with security tools and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
