Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

As an Analytics Engineer at Nextdoor, you will work to democratize data and reporting to drive strategy and measure performance against KPIs across the business.

In Short

• Own reporting tools, pipelines, and dashboards for mission-critical data.
• Build datasets and reports representing the source of truth for key metrics.
• Ensure data sources are fresh and address data quality issues.
• Collaborate with various departments on analytics engineering strategy.
• Set expectations and SLAs on data availability.
• Drive self-service and data literacy for business users.
• Participate in in-person Nextdoor events.
• Build relationships with team members to contribute to company culture.

Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering or analytics.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Looker or other BI tools.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems from technical and business perspectives.
• Experience presenting insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience driving projects end-to-end.
