Junior Event Manager - Remote

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Junior Event Manager to help bring Nextcloud to the global stage through exceptional event experiences. As part of our Global Event & Partner Marketing team, you will support our Events team in delivering high-impact event programs — from large-scale company-owned events to industry conferences — that build visibility, drive engagement, and support our global growth.

In Short

• Plan, organize, and execute events end-to-end.
• Collaborate with the team lead to shape and scale our global event strategy.
• Support with the creation of event content and manage agendas.
• Align event goals with broader business objectives.
• Manage all event logistics including budgeting and scheduling.
• Represent Nextcloud at global trade shows and conferences.
• Track event performance and gather attendee feedback.

Requirements

• First experience in event management, ideally in a global B2B or tech environment.
• Experience in organizing international events across various formats.
• High reliability and project management skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus.
