Overview

The Security Officer I is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees at Newton-Wellesley Hospital by enforcing security regulations and monitoring for hazards.

In Short

• Provide protective services for hospital premises.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice preferred.
• No prior experience required; 1-3 years preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s license or equivalent.
• Pass an annual criminal background check.
• Complete required training certifications within specified timeframes.
• Preferred: Massachusetts License to Carry Class A.
