Overview

The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing security regulations and reporting potential safety hazards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in security, police, or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate anxious or stressed individuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Intermediate computer skills, including typing and database use.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
• Basic Officer Certification (CHSO) preferred.
• Personal Driver's License preferred.
• Supervisory Certification (CHSS) preferred.
