As a Sales Order Entry Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless order processing, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Process incoming sales orders received via email and EDI portal using NetSuite and TrueCommerce (EDI).
• Verify and confirm order details for accuracy before finalizing entries.
• Update customers on order statuses, including confirmations and changes.
• Assist the sales team in preparing and coordinating sample shipments for customers and trade shows.
• Work closely with the shipping department, ensuring all order information is correctly relayed for fulfillment.
• Identify and resolve order discrepancies or missing information by collaborating with internal teams.
• Maintain organized records of orders, invoices, and correspondence.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to order processing and data management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 or more years of experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and EDI platforms (e.g., TrueCommerce) in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to double-check work for errors before processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines.
