Overview

New Incentives is seeking a Research and Learning Associate to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of impact evaluations for its programs aimed at increasing childhood vaccinations in northern Nigeria.

In Short

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of impact evaluations.
  • Engage critically with evaluation methodology and support research protocol refinement.
  • Assist in the development of survey instruments and ensure data quality.
  • Serve as a liaison between external research firms and internal teams.
  • Conduct literature reviews to inform research design.
  • Help connect evaluation outputs to programmatic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports that translate technical findings for various audiences.
  • Work remotely with occasional travel to northern Nigeria.
  • Initially a contract role for approximately 3–6 months.
  • Opportunity for growth as the research portfolio expands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in impact evaluation or related research.
  • Strong understanding of causal inference and experimental methods.
  • Experience with digital data collection platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
