Senior DevOps Engineer, Data Security - Remote

The Netskope Data Security team is focused on providing unrivaled visibility and real-time data protection. Our products ensure that customer’s data is protected wherever it lives. Our engineers work on architecting, designing, testing and delivering the next generation of highly scalable, effective, and high-performance data loss prevention solutions.

In Short

• Work with Customers, AWS, GCP, Azure, and other teams to ensure all services are successfully deployed and running smoothly.
• Deploy Kubernetes services across different clouds.
• Develop innovative ways to measure, monitor & report application and infrastructure health.
• Maintain deployment configuration for services running on K8s.
• Migrate services from VMs to K8s.
• Run scripts and tools in production to validate new deployments.
• Contribute to improving performance and solving scaling issues.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Drive efficiencies in systems and processes.
• Solve complex challenges and improve technical skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting Unix/Linux.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Networking concepts - TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, VPN.
• Experience with Python, Golang, C++, or C.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services in a highly available and scalable production environment.
• Experience with CICD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Spinnaker.
• Knowledge of distributed systems is a plus.
• Experience with Sumo Logic, Grafana/Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.
• Ability to own and deliver projects independently.
