Overview

The Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) at Netflix is responsible for managing information security incidents and crises. We are looking for a skilled Security Software Engineer to enhance our incident management tools and lead security incident responses.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 2+ years in Incident Management as a Security Incident Commander.
  • Experience with cloud production environments.
  • Familiarity with data engineering principles and ETL pipelines.
  • Knowledge of big data platforms and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work across teams in changing environments.
  • Passion for software development in the security domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to engage in operational capacities.
