QA Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to build out our testing process and tools at Nest Veterinary, where technology meets veterinary care.

In Short

• Establish and own the QA function for the company.
• Build the QA function from the ground up.
• Evaluate and select testing tools.
• Design and implement testing strategies.
• Perform hands-on manual testing.
• Develop an automation roadmap.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams.
• Own defect reporting and tracking.
• Establish metrics and reporting for product quality.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluency in Python and familiarity with FastAPI or gRPC.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based deployment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven experience in QA or software testing.
• Experience in establishing QA processes.
• Hands-on with manual testing and planning for automation.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
