EOIR Legal Transcriber (Contract) - Remote

Overview

Neal R. Gross & Co. (NRGCO) is a Washington, DC based Court Reporting and Transcription company. We have been in business for over 45 years and provide verbatim court reporting and transcription services to a broad range of government and private clients. We are looking to add legal transcribers for EOIR type of work: trials, administrative hearings, historical and investigational interviews, and meetings.

In Short

• Work from home position
• Legal transcription experience required
• EOIR experience necessary
• Must transcribe at least 3 hours of audio per week
• Timeliness is a must
• Excellent English language skills required
• Audio, notes, and format provided via FTP
• Accurate transcription required
• Completed transcripts must be sent back in a timely fashion

Requirements

• Experience in legal transcription
• Familiarity with EOIR processes
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong command of the English language
• Ability to work independently
