Overview

Neal R. Gross & Co. (NRGCO) is a Washington, DC based Court Reporting and Transcription company. We have been in business for over 40 years and provide verbatim court reporting and transcription services to a broad range of government and private clients. We are looking to add legal and general transcribers for all types of work: trials, administrative hearings, historical and investigational interviews, and meetings.

In Short

• Work from home position
• Legal transcription experience preferred
• Must transcribe at least 3 hours of audio per week
• Timeliness and excellent English skills required
• Audio and format provided via FTP
• Accurate grammar, punctuation, and spelling needed
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• High-speed internet connection required
• Proofreading of all work before submission

• Required software/hardware: WordPerfect and/or MSWord, Windows Operating System, FTR Player, ExpressScribe, FileZilla
• OPTIONAL - USB foot pedal (Infinity is a popular model)
• AAERT certification is a plus
• Must type at least 60 WPM
