Senior Software Engineer - Video Encoding and Delivery - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Video Encoding and Delivery team with Fandango at Home, where you will contribute to the systems that ingest, encode, package, and deliver premium video content for millions of users across VOD, AVOD, and Live workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and Java.
• Experience with video delivery technologies and streaming protocols.
• Strong understanding of AWS and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for learning and staying current with video standards.
• Experience working in a distributed team.
• Proficiency in additional scripting languages is a plus.
