Senior Software Engineer - Video Encoding and Delivery - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Video Encoding and Delivery team with Fandango at Home, where you will contribute to the systems that ingest, encode, package, and deliver premium video content for millions of users across VOD, AVOD, and Live workflows.

• Build and enhance video ingestion, encoding, packaging, and validation systems.
• Own features and services managing the content lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and Java.
• Experience with video delivery technologies.
• Familiarity with streaming protocols (DASH, CMAF, HLS).
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Bonus: Proficiency in scripting languages (C, C++, Bash).
