Security Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Security Software Engineer to be part of our NBCU Consumer Product Security team. This security engineer will partner with Global Streaming Technology and Cyber Security organizations to build and deploy internal services that enhance our organizations security posture through data driven approaches and align with Cyber Security and Enterprise Technology strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Golang.
• Experience with cloud-based security services.
• Familiarity with the secure software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and NIST Cloud Security guidelines.
• Experience with AWS services, particularly in security domains.
• Strong DevOps background and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of containerization and microservices architectures.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Excellent time management skills.
