Software Engineer - Security - Remote

Overview

The Product Security and Compliance team is responsible for driving security features for the product, managing the governance, risk and compliance program, and customer identity engineering. We are adding a software engineer to our team to help us balance security, compliance and developer experience.

In Short

• Work with engineering teams to understand our development practices and tools
• Coordinate with GRC and security to consider risk as it relates to critical system components and data
• Design, build, implement, and manage systems to unify and simplify how developers access tools
• Support and develop automated testing for GRC systems
• Assist with unifying security tooling and CI/CD pipelines
• Aid in developing tools to manage alerts and notifications for SecOps
• Perform basic triage and incident response for applications managed by security
• 5+ years of experience building security and compliance solutions
• Proficient in Go, Python, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Terragrunt
• Hands on experience building scalable internal full stack applications

Requirements

• Experience developing against Okta, identity governance tools, Cloud IAM, and zero trust solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Strong problem solver with solid production debugging skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
