Response Operations Shift Lead (Cybersecurity) - Remote

Overview

The Response Operations Shift Lead will oversee the Cyber Threat Operations team, focusing on incident response and threat hunting in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Lead second shift operations from 4:45 PM to 1:00 AM EST.
• Supervise daily shift activities and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Act as primary point of contact for escalations.
• Support incident response and manage escalated tickets.
• Conduct forensic analysis for security incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide on-call support during nontraditional hours.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of response process documentation.
• Participate in training and mentoring of team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Cyber Defense or Incident Response.
• Experience with security toolsets and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and forensics tools.
• Experience with cloud security concepts.
• Relevant certifications (GCIA, GCIH, etc.) are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with various security technologies.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work flexible hours.
