Security Operations Center Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead and scale our Security Operations Center. As the SOC manager, you will establish and refine SOC processes, mentor and grow a team of analysts, and serve as the primary point of contact for all incident response and security monitoring activities.

In Short

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the SOC, including alert triage, incident response, and threat hunting
• Develop and maintain SOC playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Lead major security incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating status to stakeholders
• Define and track SOC metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Oversee tuning and optimization of SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses
• Mentor, coach, and develop SOC analysts and engineers
• Ensure SOC processes meet regulatory requirements
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security tools

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations in a leadership or SOC management role
• Deep understanding of SIEM, SOAR, incident response methodologies, and cloud security
• Proven track record of building or scaling a SOC
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience aligning security operations with compliance frameworks
