Security Operations Center Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead and scale our Security Operations Center. As the SOC manager, you will establish and refine SOC processes, mentor and grow a team of analysts, and serve as the primary point of contact for all incident response and security monitoring activities.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day operations of the SOC, including alert triage and incident response.
• Develop and maintain SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Lead major security incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Define and track SOC metrics for continuous improvement.
• Oversee tuning and optimization of SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Mentor and develop SOC analysts and engineers.
• Ensure SOC processes meet regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and implement new security tools and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, with 2 years in leadership.
• Deep understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and incident response methodologies.
• Proven track record of building or scaling a SOC.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.).
