Overview

NBC Olympics is seeking a BOC Maintenance Core Manager to provide technical engineering support for the 2026 Milan Winter Games.

In Short

• Project/limited term position for 3 months between January 2026 – March 2026.
• Support core routing and transmission systems at the NBC Sports facility in Milan.
• Provide front-line support for broadcast systems including routing and transmission.
• Interface with operators and supervisors for troubleshooting technical issues.
• Assist in configuration and system checks prior to the Games.
• Requires hands-on technical skills and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work remote during pre-Olympics and onsite in Milan closer to Games time.
• Must be able to work assigned hours including evenings and weekends.
• Minimum five years of experience in live broadcast engineering required.
• Passion for working on large-scale events like the Olympics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in live broadcast engineering.
• Experience with video and audio routing systems.
• Proficiency in IP networking.
• Ability to read and understand wiring and flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with broadcast signal test equipment.
• Experience in HDR workflows preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Business Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Must be 18 years or older.
