Directory Services Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Directory Services Engineer will be a key member of the new Versant Cyber organization, responsible for managing and maintaining directory platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP-based directories.

In Short

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise directory platforms ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available environments.
• Manage directory object lifecycle operations, including user, group, and service account provisioning.
• Implement and support secure directory architecture.
• Consult on complex enterprise-wide security assessments.
• Collaborate with identity and infrastructure teams.
• Support Group Policy development and enforcement.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide identity modernization initiatives.
• Must be available to work core hours of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET.
• Fully remote position.
• Salary range: $105,000 - $135,000.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working in a leadership position across cyber security disciplines.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory architecture and management.
• Experience managing Azure AD tenants.
• Proficiency in LDAP and directory queries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in identity and security engineering is a plus.
