Overview

The Grants and Development Manager (GDM) will be responsible for coordinating NNPHI staff in building relationships with funders; identifying opportunities and completing applications for funding, including applications to private foundations, federal agencies, and NGOs; and pre-award planning, organization, and preparation.

In Short

  • Coordinate development and maintenance of funding organization profiles in Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain activity tracking and revenue opportunities reports.
  • Coordinate meetings with existing and prospective funders.
  • Support teams with adding proposal opportunities to Salesforce CRM.
  • Lead proposal development, including completing application forms and narratives.
  • Streamline business development processes and provide training opportunities.
  • Research and propose potential business intelligence platforms.
  • Ensure compliance and maximize high scores in proposals.
  • Provide information for the Business Development workgroup.
  • Passionate about NNPHI’s mission and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of grant writing and public health-related work experience required.
  • Knowledge of foundation, federal, and NGO funding sources.
  • Experience utilizing CRM software for relationship management.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and oversight skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship development skills.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
  • Passionate about NNPHI’s mission and impact.
