Development Manager - Remote

Overview

The Development Manager will be an integral member of the newly established Development Team at TRAILS, reporting directly to the VP of Development. This role will support the day-to-day operations of activity related to building and sustaining critical funders and champions.

In Short

• Lead the drafting of all current grant reports.
• Own the grant reporting timelines and internal tracking system.
• Collaborate internally across program and finance teams.
• Maintain the current funder and supporter pipeline.
• Support effective research for prospecting calls and meetings.
• Track timelines for renewals with funders.
• Maintain team processes and systems (Salesforce, Monday.com).
• Attend Development Team Meetings and cross-collaboration events.
• 4+ years experience in development or business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience building and managing a development pipeline.
• Experience securing commitments to drive revenue goals.
• Experience managing grant portfolios.
• Strong writing skills in grant writing and internal communications.
• Ability to travel within the US for team meetings.
