Product Specialist - Operations - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Operations Product Team, supporting applications for both the Utility and Broadband industries. In this role, you will collaborate with other Operations Product Owners to develop data and reporting requirements that meet the needs of the NISC membership.

In Short

• Collaborate with Operations Product Owners to develop data and reporting requirements.
• Serve as a product liaison with data architects.
• Conduct product research for new features and enhancements.
• Work closely with Members and internal stakeholders.
• Document business processes for feature support.
• Assist in requirements, development, quality assurance, and release management.
• Lead discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Analyze and capture complex business needs.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of use cases.
• Commit to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of business-related software applications.
• Understanding of product portfolio functionalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management processes.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, teach, and mentor others.
• Ability to travel as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
