Overview

Natera is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to serve as Vice President, Oncology Medical, leading the Medical Affairs activities for our Oncology Business Unit. This role involves oversight of a team of Medical Directors and collaboration with various teams while driving medical strategy and building relationships with key stakeholders in oncology.

In Short

  • Lead the Medical Affairs department for the Oncology Business Unit.
  • Oversee clinical study designs and publication strategies.
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of treatment protocols.
  • Manage a team delivering scientific presentations.
  • Ensure product quality through collaboration with MSL teams.
  • Identify new product opportunities in oncology.
  • Provide medical input for regulatory submissions.
  • Adhere to HIPAA/PHI compliance.
  • Travel required for client engagement (up to 40%).

Requirements

  • M.D. with expertise in medical oncology or related fields.
  • 10+ years of clinical practice managing oncology patients.
  • 10+ years of clinical trial experience.
  • 5+ years in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology diagnostics.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong project management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
