Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation, optimization, and performance of data-driven solutions across various Natera’s products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including lab operations, product, engineering, and other data scientists, to analyze, interpret, and enhance the performance of critical product workflows and drive process improvements. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world data challenges, improve efficiency through automation, and develop scalable data solutions that support business objectives.

In Short

• Collaborate with Lab Operations and Product teams to identify process issues and provide support.
• Provide data-backed analysis to improve patient results turnaround times.
• Develop and implement anomaly detection models for key process metrics.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends.
• Document analytical processes and best practices.
• Provide training on SQL, data analysis, and statistical methods.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and statistical modeling.
• At least 3 years of experience using Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in project management.
