Overview

The Patient Success Specialist is responsible for managing patient-specific eligibility verifications, claim submissions, and reporting functions while ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.

In Short

  • Manage insurance billing processes including EOB, Deductible, Coinsurance, and Copay.
  • Maintain current status on training requirements.
  • Experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in skilled nursing.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices.
  • Minimum two years of call center experience.
  • Minimum two years of Salesforce experience.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent oral and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

  • Clear understanding of insurance billing processes.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Strong quantitative and MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must act with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to converse with patients for a minimum of 4 hours/day.
  • Ability to work outside regular hours if needed.
