Manager, Revenue Cycle Audits - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Cycle Audit Manager is responsible for building and maintaining collaborative and productive personnel audits within the organization and with outsourced billing providers related to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This role will manage revenue cycle audit projects related to personnel training, productivity, and accuracy to drive performance in operations related to reimbursement.

• Perform audits and analysis to identify trends and prioritize performance improvement initiatives.
• Build auditing templates to monitor RCM team performance.
• Manage a team of auditors including hiring and training.
• Modify workflows and SOPs based on audit findings.
• Establish relationships with other departments and external vendors.
• Lead weekly meetings to review key metrics and trends.
• Develop performance goals linked to organizational strategy.
• Coordinate with management on issues affecting revenue cycle performance.
• Monitor successful completion of implementation and project plans.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Healthcare related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in medical billing and/or insurance collections.
• Management experience is required.
• Proficiency with medical billing systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyze trends.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
• Ability to balance competing priorities successfully.
• Motivated to brainstorm innovative solutions.
