Staff Engineer, Atlassian - Remote

Overview

The Staff Engineer, Atlassian will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing end-to-end migrations from Atlassian Data Center to Cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of Atlassian tools and excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket migrations.
• Understanding of user management, workflows, and custom fields.
• Familiarity with migration planning and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and client exposure.
• Experience with third-party Atlassian Marketplace apps.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Experience in creating WBS and estimating efforts.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and support team members.
• Experience in carrying out POCs for design and technology validation.
