Associate Staff Engineer, QA - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong eCommerce domain knowledge to join our team, responsible for designing effective test scenarios, automating test cases using Playwright, and collaborating with global teams.

In Short

• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios for web applications.
• Automate test cases using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
• Ensure test automation aligns with business requirements and sprint deliverables.
• Support testing efforts across Manila and US time zones.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong eCommerce domain knowledge.
• Proficiency with Playwright (JavaScript & TypeScript).
• Experience with Jira and Bitbucket.
• Ability to design, execute, and automate effective test scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work across different time zones.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology.
• Good-to-Have:
  • Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
