Legal Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

This role focuses on managing financial aspects within the legal organization, including budget planning, analysis, and vendor relationships.

In Short

• Support budget planning and analysis for the global legal organization.
• Interact with general counsel, regional counsel, finance, and vendors.
• Manage the legal budget with regular updates and tracking data.
• Drive variance analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Manage the Onit matter management and E-billing system.
• Facilitate engagement agreements and compliance with billing guidelines.
• Participate in the development of strategic initiatives for legal spend.
• Track industry standards to ensure compliance with trends.
• Partner with finance teams for continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Finance required.
• Experience in a Law Firm or In-House Legal Department preferred.
• Background in Legal Operations or Finance is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English required.
