Overview

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for basic replenishment, re-buying, and managing store merchandise, utilizing experience and judgment to accomplish various tasks under the supervision of a Buyer.

In Short

• Assist Buyers in merchandise procurement.
• Enter and transmit Purchase Orders.
• Monitor Purchase Orders for timely delivery.
• Contact suppliers to expedite delivery.
• Resolve receiving or invoice discrepancies.
• Build relationships with stores and vendors.
• Other related responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year related experience.
• 4-year degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
