Overview

The Service Engineer Level 3 role involves providing expert maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for engines and related systems in a remote capacity, requiring extensive travel and technical expertise.

In Short

  • Lead and perform hands-on field MRO services on engines and controls.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Provide technical instruction to customers and junior engineers.
  • Develop control system diagrams.
  • Train internal teams and customers both on-site and remotely.
  • Deliver support for system testing and documentation.
  • Act as a technical liaison for quality compliance.
  • Commission control systems and actuation assemblies.
  • Travel up to 85% for customer support.
  • Must obtain a valid TWIC card.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of field service experience with engines or mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Trade School or Military Training Certificate required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring in technical environments.
  • Proficiency in interpreting schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
