Author Coordinator for Public Health Engineering Guidelines - Consultancy - Remote

Overview

The Author Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and revising the Public Health Engineering guidelines to ensure they are scientifically sound and relevant to MSF's operational context.

In Short

• Coordinate and write the revision of the content of PHE guidelines.
• Adapt and execute the proposed detailed revision plan for PHE guidelines.
• Write new Technical Briefs and update existing ones.
• Participate in medical writing improvement meetings.
• Implement a continuous feedback collection plan from stakeholders.
• Ensure guidelines are evidence-based and technically feasible.
• Track and ensure correct citation of references.
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Prepare discussion documents for unresolved topics.
• Finalise the text considering all feedback.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health engineering or environmental engineering.
• Experience in WatSan/WaSH guidelines production.
• Minimum 3 years of project experience in WatSan/Environmental Health.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills in English.
• French, Spanish, or Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong commitment to MSF values.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• IT literacy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
