Public Health Analyst / Project Coordinator - Remote

Overview

Altarum’s Community Health Practice Area is seeking a Public Health Analyst to work across the following focus areas: sexual and reproductive health and maternal and child health. The successful candidate will provide support that includes collecting, compiling, researching, analyzing, and reporting on a variety of data sources.

In Short

• Provide administrative and coordination support to project teams.
• Support data collection activities for maternal & child health and sexual & reproductive health.
• Assist in the development of reports, memos, and online learning courses.
• Take notes during project meetings and summarize action items.
• Collaborate with project managers to support project timelines.
• Experience in public health communication is a plus.
• Coordinate and facilitate virtual meetings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and online communication tools.
• Interest in sexual and reproductive health and maternal and child health.
• Ability to travel for on-site event coordination as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Strong communication skills and team-focused mentality.
• Willingness to step into new roles and continuously learn.
• Ability to work during eastern time unless approved otherwise.
• Must have a dedicated workspace for remote work.
