Senior Network Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Network Security Engineer specializing in Network and Endpoint Security, you will design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect our organization's infrastructure and data security.

In Short

• Implement and improve endpoint detection and response (EDR) and Data Loss prevention (DLP) technologies.
• Secure network traffic and enhance overall network security posture.
• Maintain security aspects of Software-Defined Networking, Firewall, and VPN.
• Deploy and manage AWS-native security solutions.
• Analyze and secure communication protocols.
• Develop security solutions for remote work environments.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center for incident investigations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support regulatory compliance.
• Educate staff on security best practices.
• Lead post-incident analysis and recommend preventive measures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 2 years’ experience.
• Proven experience with endpoint security tools.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with network security technologies.
• Strong understanding of secure network architecture and protocols.
• Experience implementing egress and ingress traffic filtering strategies.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Software Defined Networking.
• 2+ years expertise in AWS-native security services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
