PMO Software Testing Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

MPF Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test & Evaluation (T&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in software testing within the Department of Defense (DoD) systems acquisition domain. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in software T&E acquisition processes and hands-on experience supporting Program Management Office (PMO) environments.

In Short

• Provide advanced subject matter expertise in software T&E acquisition processes within DoD PMO structures.
• Guide integration of software T&E into program-level Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and Test & Evaluation Strategies (TES).
• Deliver technical input and quality assurance for the creation of curriculum and training materials for the Software T&E credential.
• Support PMO-aligned efforts by helping define and validate learning objectives, outcomes, and assessment strategies.
• Lead and contribute to Scrum and SWARM-based curriculum development sessions using ADO Kanban boards.
• Participate in Curriculum Requirements meetings and provide technical leadership as the primary SME.
• Apply PMO experience to align T&E strategy with overall program milestones, acquisition lifecycle, and policy directives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and select appropriate commercial training materials.
• Conduct daily standups and ongoing working sessions to ensure alignment, progress, and quality.
• Apply Agile, Lean, and DevSecOps methodologies to improve testing and delivery frameworks across the acquisition lifecycle.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in software T&E acquisition processes.
• Hands-on experience in PMO environments.
• Fluency in Agile, Lean, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud, generative AI, and quantum computing.
• Ability to provide technical input and curriculum content.
