In Short

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from various sources, including Snowflake and other data platforms.
• Utilize Python and data analysis tools to perform advanced data analysis, including forecasting, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data pipelines, reporting, and alerting to ensure timely and actionable insights.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and monitoring to continuously improve our capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in SQL and Python
• Proficient in data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
• Proficient experience using Datadog
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to uncover insights from complex data
• Experience working with large, high-velocity data sets and developing scalable data pipelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate technical findings into business-oriented recommendations
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) is a plus
