Embedded Technical Program Manager - Remote

Overview

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) role within the Motive Hardware organization is intended for individuals who are willing to take total ownership of product development projects and drive them to a successful completion.

In Short

• Prepare formal project plans including schedules and deliverables.
• Administer a formal review process to validate each development phase.
• Monitor progress of projects and report status to management.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize schedule and technical risk.
• Help validate that test plans are complete and testing is successful.
• Respond to issues that develop during the project.
• Coach engineers, Product Managers, and leads on effective processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in development and management of firmware for embedded products.
• Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Experience managing projects with multiple teams at multiple sites.
• Experience managing outsourced firmware projects.
• Ability to lead without authority and prioritize effectively.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
