Scheduler II - Solar - Remote

Overview

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II to join our Solar Group. The candidate should have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Scheduler II will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities in the pre-construction phase of a build and provide technical support and training during the construction phase.

In Short

• Support project teams through preparation, monitoring, and updating of solar schedules.
• Assist site management to formulate action plans to optimize schedules.
• Draft and present CPM schedules, identifying potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
• Minimum two years construction scheduling experience.
• Experience as a Project Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Asta, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
• Construction operations experience strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of scheduling principles and best practices.
• Proven ability in anticipating and solving problems.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
