Overview

The IT Helpdesk Technician will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role involves maintaining the daily performance of computer systems and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for IT issues via phone and email.
  • Write training manuals and train users on software and hardware.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with local and wide area networks.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on support tickets.
  • Maintain the performance of computer systems.
  • Respond professionally to service requests.
  • Provide tier 1 support for end users.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A+ certification.
  • One year of IT helpdesk or related job experience.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow a service ticket through to completion.
  • Positive attitude and self-starter mentality.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fully remote environment.
